The Paper-1

Candidates must
have passed in final examination of class 12 or its equivalent with five
subjects.
Class 12
results of candidates will be a factor only in determining the eligibility
criteria and not the JEE rankings from 2017 onwards. To qualify for appearing
in exam, students need to have at least 75 percent marks or be in top 20
percentile in their Class 12 examination. The SC/ST/OBC students should have 65
percent marks.
Candidates
can attempt JEE Main for a maximum of three times.

5. BITSAT- 2018
The Birla
Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) is almost as difficult
as the JEE Advanced, as per the statistics. BITSAT 2016 will be held in online
mode i.e. it will be a Computer Based Test (CBT).

degree courses in BITS campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad.
Eligibility criteria:
Only those

of the total sanctioned seats in Engineering/Architecture at private
institutions in the state will be kept open for candidates of other states
also. These 10 percent seats will be filled on the basis of combined merit of

PCM; the subjects should have been studied in English. Minimum marks required

residency. Candidates hailing from outside Karnataka can sit for the KCET only
if they have studied seven years in Karnataka.
